I’m incredibly excited to be attending the very first summit that Warwick and Robyn Schiller are hosting with many of the guests of his Journey On podcast.
Warwick Schiller was one of the first “wisdom holders” I found when I looked for help training my horse. I was a complete novice and needed help but found myself repelled by many of the horse training programs I researched. When I found Warwick, his new and evolving way of training horses resonated deeply with me. His transparency about his journey has inspired me to be brave about my own, both with the steps I’m taking and with sharing my experiences along the way.
I listen to the podcast when I’m in the car (or truck), and it sometimes seems that the next podcast up has the exact message I need to hear. I continue to learn from Warwick, of course, but I’ve also learned so much from podcast guests like Kerri Lake, Jane Pike, Sarah Schlotte. Many of the podcast guests are adventurers, and while I find their interviews thrilling and inspiring, I’m most moved by podcast guests who are plumbing the depths of the horse-human connection.
The event will be held at the Drury Hotel on the Riverwalk in San Antonio. There will only be 230 attendees, and the event sold out in 3 days. I bought my ticket in the first 3 minutes! It will be structured as presentations rather than hands-on-horses clinics. When I saw Warwick at Equine Affaire in Columbus in March, he said they were thinking the podcast guests might do TED-like talks. I can’t wait! The last I heard, the guest speakers included:
- Dr Steve Peters
- Mark Rashid
- Chrissie McDonald
- Jim Masterson
- Josh Nichol
- Karen Rohlf
- Sarah Schlotte
- Kathy Price
- Carla Bauchmueller
- Nahshon Cooke
- Leslie Desmond
- Terry Kuebler
- Sukie Baxter
- Dr Susan Fay
- Jillian Kreinbring
- Kerri Lake
- Barbra Schulte
- Elsa Sinclair
- Shea Stewart
- Jessica White Plume
- And maybe Jane Pike????
Are you planning to attend? I’d love to hear from you if you are.
